COACH MEdia was founded in 1999 as SOS Consulting by Stephen
Pia, a 16-year media sales veteran. Stephen's approach has
always been different than most trainers - he believes that
while the training event is important, follow-up activities
are often the key to whether or not the training really delivers
the desired Return on Investment (ROI). That is why he offers
continuous support through e-mail, phone and follow-up visits
to reinforce the concepts and apply them to real-life sales
situations.
Because of this approach, companies have relied on Stephen
to provide ongoing support in between on-site training programs.
This natural extension of his training services led Stephen
to formalize his coaching programs in 2004. At that time,
he re-launched the company as COACH MEdia to reflect his one-on-one
approach and the industry the company serves.
